AA-EVP Membership Information

Why Become a AA-EVP Member?

People join the AA-EVP for a variety of reasons, including:

General interest in paranormal phenomena

Learning how to communicate with loved ones now on the Other Side

They use EVP for hauntings investigations

Interested in EVP/ITC experiment research and development, and sharing of ideas

Interest in participating in a community of like-minded EVP/ITC experimenters

Support of an eventual scientific validation that we survive physical death

EVP/ITC is not about religion. The main goal of the AA-EVP is to help people learn to record these voices and to communicate with loved ones on the other side. The AA-EVP also promotes efforts to determine the scientific nature of these communications. The operating hypothesis of the AA-EVP is that these communications are evidence that "we survive death in the conscious state." All available evidence is leading us to this conclusion. Let the evidence, and the facts, tell us the truth.

Requirements for Membership
A person must be at least twenty-one (21) to join the AA-EVP.

Membership is for individuals and members of the immediate family in the same home. The Association does not offer a group membership and will only list members by name and not by organization.

More on AA-EVP Member Services

Quarterly NewsJournal - This is considered the primary benefit of membership. The AA-EVP NewsJournal is designed to keep you informed on what other experimenters are doing worldwide. The Association publishes members' ideas and techniques, along with articles of interest to AA-EVP members. The journal typically runs around twenty 8.5 by 11 inch pages.

The NewsJournal is published in both softcopy and print formats. Members may receive printed copies through the postal service. The softcopy version is in Adobe Portable Document File (PDF) format, delivered via email. Advantages to receiving the softcopy NewsJournal include faster availability, often-easier perception of photographs depicting phenomena (typically in color), and the ability to search for keywords. Email delivery also saves the Association postage costs, freeing up those funds for research purposes. (Click here to see a sample as a PDF file)

Member Registry (Optional) - The Member Registry list participants receive names and, if authorized by a member, postal and/or email member addresses who are interested in communicating with other AA-EVP members. Participation is strictly optional; the list is confidential and made available only to other participating members. The minimum required information is: first and last name, city, state and regional code. Also required is email or street address is optional. See the example listing below:

AA-EVP Document Archive - The NewsJournal has been published quarterly by the AA-EVP since May, 1982. Many of these are in the archive and the rest will be added soon. Also, Bill Weisensale published thirteen Spirit Voices newsletters before his transition, also being added to the archive. These documents provide a valuable resource for new members, since many of their questions have been discussed in previous newsletters.

AA-EVP Idea Exchange - The Idea Exchange is a members-only discussion board providing a forum where members are able to discuss ideas, theories, and evidence about EVP/ITC phenomena. Focused on teaching and learning, the Exchange offers the ability to post sound and picture files, search for specific subjects, and display text in a number of languages.

Member Assistance - Many people want to learn basic and advanced techniques for recording using tape and digital voice recorders, video equipment, and computers. The AA-EVP provides an ideal platform for sharing ideas, techniques, and successes with others. Your membership will also help in bringing positive information about this phenomena to the world.
